Walking Beam Hardening And Tempering Furnace For Gas Cylinder

1.Description of furnace body:　

This walking beam type furnace is installed in one line. Shell and framework are made of steel plate and formed steel. Furnace body is supported in a certain height by column and rack, so that furnace can run in stable and reliable condition, shell is made of A3,δ4mm steel plates which are welded with furnace channel steel.

Furnace lining: to ensure temperature is rising rapidly, save energy, and increase temperature control accuracy, the furnace adopts full fiber structure. Those fiber blocks are mounted along with furnace wall by stainless steel anchor; to prolong service life of lining, after fiber blocks are fixed with furnace wall, one layer of 1Cr13 δ2mm stainless steel sheet is coated at surface of fiber, this kind of structure has more than 8 years of service life.

Equipment configuration: it consists of hardening furnace, tempering furnace, quenching tank, loading table, unloading table, combustion system, exhausting system, and electrical control system.

2. Working Procedures of the production line:

﹡Cylinders are loaded at transfer roller;

﹡Cylinders are transferred onto loading table; and charged inside of hardening furnace chamber from one end of furnace door;

﹡Cylinders are horizontally heated inside of hardening furnace;

﹡After heating process, cylinders will be discharged out of chamber from the other end of furnace door;

﹡Cylinders is transferred inside of quenching tank;(cylinders are horizontally immerged in quenching water)

﹡After quenching, cylinders are transferred at loading table at front of tempering furnace;

﹡Cylinders are charged inside of tempering furnace chamber from one end of furnace door;

﹡Cylinders are horizontally heated inside of tempering furnace;

﹡After heating process, cylinders will be discharged out of furnace chamber from the other end of furnace door;

﹡ Air cooling process;

﹡ Cylinders are discharged out of furnace chamber,waiting for unloading.

Working cycle of the production line for Standard Cylinder : 160 seconds/piece

3.Characteristic of gas cylinder:

The gas cylinder is made of seamless steel pipe and formed into cylindered shape. One end of the steel pipe is closed up, refer to above sketch.
